How can i forget the day we went
clubbing Myself,Denrele,Goldie,Temi and few friends we got to the club,
and every1 was staring @ Goldie as she walked down with smiles on their
faces, and they all wanted to take pictures with her. How can I ever
forget our journey to the HOTFM studio in abuja, and getting there
every1 was asking Goldie if I was her manager cause i had a strict look
and i was trying to make things fast cause we had another appointment to
catch up with elsewhere. Someone took a particular picture of us that
day, and i said to Goldie "I be like your manager for this pic oo" she
replied saying "E Fit u well well". *smile* We also had plans on doing radio and club tour
in abuja to promote her nawty singles which is making waves now. How can I forget the day Goldie cried cause she was not happy and we
were meant to go out that night, and she said she does not feel like
going out anymore. I went close to Goldie and i said "Wipe your tears
and 4get what ever has happned if u stay all alone in dis room crying
and thinking, u won't 4get whatever is it that is making u sad, let's
hang out and have fun and i promise u will be fine. Next thing, Goldie
had a smile on her face and got dressed we went straight to White
Nigerian Bush bar for his video premaire and she was all happy and
bounced back to the real Miss G i know.
How can I
ever forget that very day we all went to silverbird galleria in abuja
(Myself,Goldie,JJC,Amena,Temmy and Steve) as we got to the galleria,
some group of gals came to goldie hugged her and said "pls can we take a
pic, what's ur twitter handle? We love u, pls follow us on twitter etc.
She had dis pretty smile on her face and showed love to them all.
Goldie never jokes with her fans. Goldie is also loved
by little children we went for a birthday party and all d kids were all
over Goldie and they kept on screaming WHAT'S MY NAME and they all
wanted an autographed cd from her. It was a wonderful experience. How can I
forget that very day we were hungry especially I in particular, Goldie
gave us a special treat we had a lot to drink and eat, we laughed,
cracked jokes and had fun all trough. I was so fond of Goldie that i always make her laugh whenever
we are chatting on BBM I even told her that her next single will be
Skibobo Pants Filled with Miliki ft Denrele Edun. And we laughed about
it. *smile I have a lot of female celebrity friends
and I love them all, but Goldie is one I really love so much, I met her
through my very good friend Denrele Edun and she welcomed me into her
life with open arms. A day b4 she passed on, we
had a conversation on hw far ave gone with her radio club and dj promo
in abj and I told her all is well and few Radio OAP's needed to be
thanked cos they all appreciated her songs on d nawti single album and
were glad to promote it. She replied saying "Okay I will once I land
lag" so i knew she was coming bk to nigeria the next day and she will
defi get in touch with me. That was the last I heard from Goldie. Goldie
touched the life of many of us with her kind of music, if u listen to
"I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE" then u will understand what am talking about.
Goldie is one lady I admire so much because even with the negative
things people say about her, she still moved on and kept on struggling
to stay ontop she never gave up. I will miss u GOLDIE. RIP my friend Oluwabimpe Susan
